Bloodborne Kart announced by developer of the Bloodborne PS1 Demake

Who needs Mario Kart when you can have Bloodborne Kart?

To celebrate Bloodborne‘s seventh anniversary yesterday, Bloodborne PSX creator Lilith Walther dropped a teaser trailer for her next project — Bloodborne Kart. Obviously inspired by Nintendo staple Mario KartBloodborne Kart will presumably be a similar racing game set in and around Yharnam. The teaser trailer doesn’t show much except for an Akira-referencing motorbike and a goggles-rockin’ hoonter. The game will arrive “when it’s ready,” so we’ll probably have to wait a while for more information and footage.

What started out as an April Fool’s joke last year while she was working on Bloodborne PSX will now soon be a reality. Earlier this year, Walther released her PS1 ‘demake’ of Bloodborne to much acclaim. The game covers the opening hours of the game with PlayStation era visuals, mixing 90’s nostalgia with passion for one of From Software’s best games.

Fans have plenty to play while we eagerly anticipate Bloodborne Kart. You can download Walther’s BB demake for free, or pick up From Software’s latest game Elden Ring and see what all the hype is all about. Trust me — it’s wonderful.
