It’s finally Friday, which means it’s time for another edition of Fantastic Five! For the uninitiated, this is where we look back and give praise to the best comics of the week. This week was a varied one, as four publishers nab spots in the top five! Let’s take a look:
Edge of Spider-Verse #4
Edge of Spider-Verse #4 features not one, not two, but four excellent stories introducing brand new Spider-Man-centric superheroes. Edge of Spider-Verse is as clever as it is inventive, proving we can never have enough Spider-Man characters.

The Avengers #60
As a one-shot, The Avengers #60 is nearly perfectly written. It captures the heart of Hawkeye to perfection and offers a bit of humor and lightheartedness that high-stakes event comics tend to forget are necessary for making a story relatable and fun.

Stuff of Nightmares #1
If you’re looking for a well-told horror comic that’s perfect for middle-grade readers and up, give Stuff of Nightmares #1 a read. It’s the start of something that feels special, thanks to a unique host who is creepy and instantly intriguing. From the host to the main story, this is R.L. Stine’s best comics work yet.

Justice Warriors #4

Batman: The Knight #9

Much like Batman, the creators have earned an ending that feels genuine and true to the characters, be it a new skillset or a revelation that has made Bruce closer to becoming the greatest hero to ever live.
