Discounts abound this week, from new video games to console bundles — but that doesn’t mean gaming releases are slowing down! There are still a few of 2022’s most anticipated titles left to look forward to before holiday shopping season ends. Let’s take a look at what video games are coming out this week.
Gungrave G.O.R.E. (11/22)
Gungrave G.O.R.E. is about as over the top as games get — I mean, just look at that title. It’s a sleek third-person action game that casts you as Grave, a “gunslinger of resurrection and badass anti-hero of your dreams.” You’ll utilize Grave’s pistols and melee moves to become an ultimate killing machine throughout its tight 12 hour emotional campaign. G.O.R.E. is the first Gungrave game since the 2017 VR game Gungrave VR and first console game in almost 20 years since 2004’s Gungrave: Overdose.
Ship of Fools (11/22)
Are you foolish enough to brave what the sea has to offer? Ship of Fools is a cooperative roguelike that follows three fools on the open waters as they try to defend their home from “the almighty Aquapocalypse.” Co-op play means you won’t be relying on AI for help but rather you foolish friends as various sea monsters attempt to sink your ship — and you with it.
Evil West (11/22)
If Weird West wasn’t horrific or violent enough for you, then check out Evil West. The third-person shooter takes places in a supernatural version of the wild west and pits players against all kinds of grotesque monsters. Jesse Rentier is one of the last members of a group of vampire hunters and will use everything in his arsenal — including his six-shooter, flamethrower, electrified gauntlet, and his ol’ bare hands — to take down the blood suckers. Evil West looks to be like a more action-focused The Order: 1886, and I am all for it.
