Developer Laura Shigihara dropped a new trailer today for Rakuen: Deluxe Edition. We get glimpses of the beautiful and vibrant fantasy world the game takes place in as well as a tease of Mr. Saitou, Shigihara’s new game set in the world of Rakuen, and some of the animated shorts included in the deluxe edition.
Rakuen originally released in 2017 to rave reviews, with critics especially praising its characters emotional narrative. It’s about a little boy living in the hospital who, along with his mother, journeys to a fantastic realm straight out of his favorite storybook. The deluxe edition includes the base game as well as Mr. Saitou and the 3D animated film collection.
Rakuen: Deluxe Edition releases March 24 for the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are now live for the Switch, and PC players can currently pick up the original release at a massive discount.
