Marvel Legends: New Joe Fixit figure revealed

The price is still too high, but at least this release genuinely feels deluxe.

This week, Hasbro revealed a new deluxe Marvel Legends figure: The Grey Incredible Hulk in his Joe Fixit persona.

You may have noticed that I didn’t put the word “deluxe” in quotation marks in the previous sentence. This is also normally the portion of a Marvel Legends deluxe figure article where I complain about the exorbitant $38.99 price tag.

And yes, the price is too high. But unlike the recent green hunk of plastic Ronan the Accuser figure, Mr. Fixit actually has some value to help justify the cost. In addition to the gorgeous sculpt and paint, it comes with an alternate head (wearing a hat), alternate fists, and a cool-looking Tommy gun. Also, you’ve got to hand it to the Hasbro team for how amazing that suit looks — especially on such an oversized figure. From the pocket square to the shiny leather dress shoes, it’s as good as anyone could ask for.

Now for the bad news: Joe Fixit is set to be available exclusively from Walmart. As far as I’m concerned, that means I’ll be skipping the preorder process entirely and taking it as a sign if one actually shows up at retail where I am.

If you want to order one, however, it’s expected to (allegedly) hit Walmart’s site in June with an expected arrival later this summer. Check out more pictures of the figure below!
