Writer Kelly Thompson made waves two days ago, revealing she’ll be writing a new Birds of Prey series with Leonardo Romero and Jordie Bellaire on art, and we now have a sense of who is on the team. Well, three of the five members who are appearing in the new series launching in the fall of 2023.
Yesterday, Thompson revealed Cassandra Cain, aka Batgirl, is on the team.
Then this afternoon, she revealed Big Barda also made the cut! With Black Canary leading the team, Thompson revealed two more spots remain.
The series will be her first Big-Two title since wrapping up her run on Captain Marvel with Captain Marvel #50, which releases June 14th.
