After three days, Hasbro’s crowdfunding campaign for the Star Wars Vintage Collection Ghost has reached its initial goal of 8,000 backers. In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Hasbro Pulse thanked Star Wars toy collectors for their support:

We reached 8,000 backers and met our initial funding goal—but the mission isn’t over!
While some folks were hoping for the campaign to fund in under 24 hours, that was going to be a tall order for an item with a $500 item. That said, gaining over 8,000 backers on such a massive product in only a few days is definitely worth celebrating – and leaves plenty of time to reach the stretch goals.
The first one up is a carded Vintage Collection figure of Ezra Bridger, which will unlock at 11,000 backers. While it’s likely that this character will see a mainline release in the near future, the figure will probably be a slightly different version and come packaged on a more generic card.
There’s also no way the standard release will include that awesome loth-cat.
With the Ghost campaign running until September 6 and the count still climbing, Star Wars fans are more than capable of rescuing Ezra from the Unknown Regions and bringing him to our toy shelves.
