Over in the latest edition of our weekly X-Men Monday column, X-Men Senior Editor Jordan D. White revealed what he’ll be up to once Tom Brevoort takes over as X-Men editor. When asked if he’s still working on X-Men comics or on to his next comics gig, White told Chris Hassan, “Both. I’m not done with all of my X-Men work, but I’m also starting to work on other things as well.”
White added he’s collaborating with Brevoort during the transition. “We are working together. We are not in any way in opposition to each other. We’re working together to make sure everything works.”
As for that next gig, White revealed, “I have already begun working on Venom and Hulk stories. Although I think, for the most part, my Venom and Hulk books won’t be coming out until after I’m done with X-Men. But there might be one or two issues that overlap.”
This news follows another recent editorial shake-up at Marvel — Wil Moss taking over editing duties on the Avengers line.
I recommend checking out the massive X-Men Monday end-of-year conversation, which is now live!
