Spring is almost in the air, and with it promises indie darlings and Triple A hits releasing week after week. This year has a lot to live up to compared to 2023’s best releases, but it’s off to a strong start so far.
Let’s check out what video games are hitting storefronts this week.
Stolen Realm (3/8)
Platforms: PC, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S
Stolen Realm is a low-poly turn-based RPG in the vein of For the King, but with a twist in that each team’s turn takes place simultaneously, blending strategic battles and fast-paced combat. A variety of classes and unique items make for a limitless amount of potential builds, and a roguelike mode encourages experimentation. Stolen Realm has been in early access on Steam for a couple years now and has received very positive reviews, making for an exciting full release this week.
Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley (3/7)
Platforms: PC and Switch
Tove Jansson’s classic stories come to life in Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley. It’s a musical adventure game all about restoring harmony with nature. To the tune of a Sigur Rós-created soundtrack, you, as Snufkin, will explore Moominvalley, solve puzzles, and disrupt the Park Keeper’s plans.
WWE 2K24 (3/8)
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S
Celebrate 40 years of Wrestlemania with WWE 2k24 and its 2K Showcase of the Immortals mode, which will let players relive some of the greatest and most memorable matches from the sport’s history. It’ll feature legends like Stone Cold Steve Austin and Andre the Giant to current day superstars like Cody Rhodes and John Cena. New match types include Ambulance, Casket, and Gauntlet matches, and MyRISE returns for you to experience your own WWE career.
