Famed X-Force, Spawn, and Batman artist Greg Capullo will team up with X-Men legend Jonathan Hickman this summer for Wolverine: Revenge. Polygon revealed the news this morning with quotes from Capullo, who promises “the most vicious and punishing Wolverine story possible to the fans this summer.”
To make that viciousness possible, Wolverine: Revenge will be released in both normal versions and a mature “red band” version with increased levels of violence and gore.
Wolverine: Revenge #1 is written by Jonathan Hickman and illustrated by Greg Capullo. The issue will hit shelves on August 21st. Take a look at preview images, courtesy of Polygon, below:
