iBUYPOWER: Closer looks at the stylish HYTE x Bandai Namco Gundam Wing collection and more

Many computer gamers are familiar with iBUYPOWER, especially for those who like to build their own setup. They focus on a technical standpoint to help maximize performance, while also providing products that are stylish and artful. They featured several of their latest products at Anime Expo.

HYTE, the sister company of iBUYPOWER, displayed their previously announced X50 and X50 Air so attendees could receive their first in-person looks at the PC cases. Their entire design is focused on optimizing airflow within the interior. There is more space for the various components and a mesh front and side panels. In addition, the power supply is mounted on the top where it can serve as an exhaust fan to remove hot air. Also, there is Cold Floor Cooling with three additional fans. The PC cases come in six colors including black, white, green, purple, pink, and red. 

One of iBUYPOWER’s announced collaborations prior to the event was the TUF Gaming x Hatsune Miku PC peripheral collection. The world’s most famous vocaloid will be featured on a gaming keyboard, headset, mouse, and mouse pad. Hatsune Miku is represented in the color scheme while her image can be seen on the keyboard and mouse pad. 

During Anime Expo, it was revealed that HYTE and Bandai Namco Entertainment America were working together on an all-new PC component and peripheral lineup themed after the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing anime series. The collection has a Gundam Wing Limited Edition Keycap Set, Desk Pad, and extra-large Wall Scroll. 

However the biggest item is the Official Gundam Wing Y70 touch infinite Limited Edition case. It has a scheme, trim, and accented components based on the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero’s color scheme. In addition to the Wing Gundam Zero UV-printed inside the glass, the Y70 touch infinite display will also feature unique, custom start-up visuals inspired by the anime.
