Former Assassin’s Creed and Arkham Origins director, Bill Money, recently became Rocksteady’s new Game Director. Now, fans are excitedly speculating that a new Batman game might be on the horizon based on Money’s history and Rocksteady’s decision to return to Arkham.
First published by the eagle-eyed Tech4Gamers, the former WB Games director announced his move to Rocksteady on his LinkedIn page. The site also linked Money’s arrival to a removed job posting (Game Director) from the company. According to Tech4Gamers, this listing’s description of the role stated, “Design leadership and experience across multiple genres, particularly Third-Person Action, Melee Brawlers, and Open World Traversal games.”
Rocksteady’s new Batman game
Money’s history with Batman games and Rocksteady’s plans to pick up the previously-abandoned Arkham Knight installment reignite the possibility that the game will arrive sooner than expected. Tech4Gamers also recalled that others have claimed the new game will be a PlayStation exclusive and part of a potential trilogy.
