Bethesda to publish spooky new game from Tango Gameworks.

Announced at Bethesda’s E3 conference, GhostWire: Tokyo is the next game from Tango Gameworks, developers of the action-horror franchise, The Evil Within.

The game is directed by Ikumi Nakamura, whose career highlights include work on Okami, Bayonetta, and The Evil Within; the last of which was directed by Shinji Mikami, director of the original Resident Evil and producer and director of the next several installments in the classic horror series.

The game’s official description pitches the game as follows:

After strange disappearances hit Tokyo’s population, it’s up to you to uncover the source and purge the city of a strange, new evil. Armed with your own mysterious spectral abilities, you will face down the occult, unravel conspiracy theories and experience urban legends like never before.

Don’t fear the unknown. Attack it.

No release date was announced, but you can watch the official trailer shown during Bethesda’s conference here!
