‘Star Wars: Doctor Aphra’ #7 gets second printing and new cover by Minkyu Jung

Lady Proxima looms large in stunning ‘Doctor Aphra’ artwork by series artist Minkyu Jung and Rachelle Rosenberg!

Marvel Comics has revealed a new variant cover for the second printing of Doctor Aphra #7 and it’s a beauty. Drawn by Minkyu Jung with colors by Rochelle Rosenberg, the cover may look familiar to Solo: A Star Wars Story fans.

“The Star Wars universe is a dream place that all artists want to explore. In Star Wars comics, I can dive as deep into a galaxy far, far away as our team wants to go and meet new aliens and crazy creatures,” Jung said in a press release sent to AIPT. “And getting to interact with infamous characters in the history of the Star Wars films like Lady Proxima is a true highlight in the journey!”

Check it out below.

New York, NY— January 29, 2021 — Last week’s issue of STAR WARS: DOCTOR APRHA has sold out at comic shops across the country! Continuing writer Alyssa Wong and artist Minkyu Jung’s high-octane run on the title, STAR WARS: DOCTOR APRHA #7 saw Aphra daring to do business with Lady Proxima, the famous Corellian gangster from Solo: A Star Wars Story. This was just the latest dangerous encounter for the rogue archeologist as she traverses the galaxy for her next big score.

“The Star Wars universe is a dream place that all artists want to explore. In Star Wars comics, I can dive as deep into a galaxy far, far away as our team wants to go and meet new aliens and crazy creatures,” Jung said. “And getting to interact with infamous characters in the history of the Star Wars films like Lady Proxima is a true highlight in the journey!”

The first Star Wars character not from the films to lead a comic series, Aphra’s unpredictable adventures continue to thrill fans as the series takes off into a new arc! Check out the newly revealed cover by Minkyu Jung and Rachelle Rosenberg below and be sure to pick up your copy of this action-packed issue when the second printing of DOCTOR APHRA #7 hits stands on February 27th.
