If you’re an MCU fan and you love Disney+, you’ve probably wondered why Spider-Man and Venom movies aren’t on the app. That’s more than likely due to Sony owning the rights to these films, but it appears Disney and Sony have worked out a deal to get these fan-favorite films onto the app.
Starting April 21st, tomorrow, fans can watch Tobey Maguire’s entire Spider-Man series on Disney+ and Andrew Garfield’s first outing as Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man. Then on May 12, fans can catch Spider-Man: Homecoming and Venom on the streaming service.
No word yet on The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Tom Holland’s sequels, or Venom 2 appearing on the streaming service, but we’ll keep you posted. Oh, and for that matter, where’s Spider-Verse? Additional titles from Sony Pictures’ film and television library are expected to premiere on Disney+ in the U.S. later this year.

Today, Disney+ announced that six Spider-Man™ films will be launching on the streaming service in the U.S. this spring, giving fans access to more from the Marvel collection, all in one place. The first Spider-Man™ films “Spider-Man™,” “Spider-Man™ 2,” “Spider-Man™ 3,” and “The Amazing Spider-Man™” will be made available to subscribers on April 21, 2023. “Spider-Man™: Homecoming” and “Venom” will join the service on May 12, 2023.
