Bleeding Edge: Ninja Theory’s newest game leaks ahead of E3 2019

And it’s not what you think.

In June of 2018, Microsoft announced its acquisition of Ninja Theory studios. Since then, any news regarding Ninja Theory’s future projects remained relatively still. Today, thanks to a leaked trailer, fans now have a glimpse of what the team behind Hellblade has been working on; Bleeding Edge.

It’s safe to say this new tile is a departure from expectations. Slovakian game site XBOXER has leaked the minute-long trailer ahead of E3. If the “Confidential” watermark across the trailer is any indication, this is one rumor that may hold water. The trailer shows off a four-on-four third-person brawler. Past titles coming out of Ninja Theory have been heavily focused on single-player, story-driven endeavors. Bleeding Edge is a fresh approach for the studio that worked on DmC: Devil May Cry.

Early indications have Bleeding Edge as an Xbox One exclusive, but PC is never off the table with Microsoft’s promises of cross-platform play.  Interestingly enough, the final shot of the trailer has June 27th as the Technical Alpha date, meaning players will get their hands on Bleeding Edge a lot sooner than your typical E3 titles being announced.

Bear in mind, this is just a rumor, but the trailer looks genuine. Only time will tell. Thankfully, E3 is only days away so eager fans hoping Bleeding Edge is real won’t have long to find out. Be sure to check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
