Next up is a promo image asking the question “Who are the infected?” which directly relates to Joshua Williamson and David Marquez’s Batman/Superman series. The promo art appears to be hyping the fact that heroes will be infected by the Batman Who Laughs and it’s up to Batman and Superman to save them.
In fact, Josh Williamson talked about this upcoming series extensively on the AiPT! Comics Podcast.
Fans can check out a sneak preview of BATMAN/SUPERMAN #1 right now. In it, we learn The Batman Who Laughs’ plot is bigger than either the Caped Crusader or the Man of Steel realized as we learn the devious killer’s first sentinel is none other than Shazam. The Dark Multiverse is a whole lot scarier.
This is the latest tidbits we’ve gleaned from DC Comics’ upcoming “Year of the Villain” and The Batman Who Laughs series. Stay tuned here at AiPT! to get the latest details on these series as well as coverage at San Diego Comic-Con which will surely reveal even more.
