New York Toy Fair is a four-day event where the industry comes together and companies reveal tons of their upcoming products. You can find our coverage on the new Star Wars and Marvel Toys fans can look forward to. So much news is expected to come out of the show, but who would have thought that would also include TV updates?
That was the case when Hasbro held their presentation. Some could be minor tidbits like the return of Power Rangers Beast Morphers season 2 but others could be more interesting. For example, when the toy company was discussing their Marvel merchandise, they showed a timeline of all the expected shows and video games involving the comic properties. Though the Ms. Marvel series was previously announced, there was no confirmed release date. According to the most recent timeline, it will premiere on Disney+ in 2021.

Then in Transformers news, a teaser trailer was shown for the upcoming Transformers: War For Cybertron. The first part of the animated show will take place on the home planet of the Autobots and Decepticons where the two sides are locked in a bitter civil war. To end the conflict, Megatron plans to use the Allspark, Cybertron’s source of all life and power, to “reformat” his enemies and “unite” the world. The Autobots are severely outnumbered and set off on one final mission to save the planet, but to do so, might have to destroy it first.
Transformers: War For Cybertron is a trilogy with the first chapter consisting of six, twenty-two minute episodes. It is developed by Netflix and Hasbro, in partnership with Rooster Teeth. The Series voice talent cast includes Jake Foushee (Optimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (Megatron), Linsay Rousseau (Elita-1), Joe Zieja (Bumblebee), Frank Todaro (Starscream), Rafael Goldstein (Ratchet), Keith Silverstein (Jetfire), Todd Haberkorn (Shockwave, Red Alert), Edward Bosco (Ultra Magnus, Soundwave), Bill Rogers (Wheeljack), Sophia Isabella (Arcee), Brook Chalmers (Impactor), Shawn Hawkins (Mirage), Kaiser Johnson (Ironhide), Miles Luna (Teletraan I, Cliffjumper) and Mark Whitten (Sideswipe, Skywarp).
