This week, Nathan Simmons returns from vacation, guest Robbie Thompson talks Suicide Squad‘s future in an extended interview from Thursday, and more!
Before we get to Thompson we recap the biggest news of the week. We start with the big news that Al Ewing, Ram V, and Bryan Hitch are taking over Venom ongoing and Donny Cates and Ryan Ottley will join forces for Hulk this November. Marvel also revealed new details on the X-Men series Inferno by Jonathan Hickman. Also from Marvel, they revealed new Captain America Ari Agbayani for The United States of Captain America #4, The Death of Doctor Strange is coming in September, and new tabletop RPG Marvel Multiverse is coming in 2022.
In the digital realm, Heavy Metal Entertainment announced a partnership with GlobalComix digital platform, Dark Horse Comics is set to launch Dark Horse Games gaming and digital division, and Kodansha Comics adds over 800 manga to Nintendo Switch app InkyPen.
