The next Zelda game wasn’t the only exciting announcement from today’s Nintendo Direct! The upcoming Bayonetta 3 also got a spotlight, and after the Direct, fans got an extended look at the upcoming Bayonetta 3.
The trailer shows off the game’s “bewitching” gameplay, new enemies, and locations from the game. The Witch Time feature allows Bayonetta to slow time and “dish out some serious damage.” Dodging at the right moment allows Witch Time to last longer, making for exciting gameplay. Demon summoning, crazy combos, and “fiendish finishers” are also showcased.
Bayonetta 3 will see the umbra witch take on man-made homunculi in a fight to save the world. She’ll be joined by fellow witch Jeanne, journalist Luka, and Viola, a new ally.
Bayonetta 3 launches October 28 for the Nintendo Switch, eight years after Bayonetta 2. Check out the new trailers below.
