On June 10th a two episode premiere of The Acolyte is on the way, a new Disney+ show that delves into Jedi and Sith pasts. Today, Disney ahs released the first trailer, which features plenty to get Star Wars fans talking. Get the scoop on what was revealed about The Acolyte at last year’s Star Wars Celebration.
Dubbed a mystery thriller, this is what we know about The Acolyte so far:
“The Acolyte” will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes but discovers the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.
The trailer features a bevy of young Jedi, a Wookiee sighting, and a dark, short, and ominous figure that is likely a Sith.
