The console wars of today pale in comparison to what transpired between Sega and Nintendo. Anyone who grew up during the 1990s will remember the importance of bits. All anyone would talk about were 8-bits and 16-bits. The lines were clearly drawn and everyone had to pick a side. A person was either with Nintendo or with Sega.
Console Wars is a documentary that looks at that epic battle. The documentary was set to premiere in March at SXSW. It will now be coming to CBS All Access and will be the first feature length documentary for the streaming network. The story of the iconic war is based on the best selling book by Blake J. Harris.
