Marvel releases final trailer for ‘Eternals’

The Eternals finally discuss why they didn’t try to stop Thanos…and what’s so bad they have to finally get invovled.

On Thursday, Marvel Studios released the final trailer for the upcoming Eternals movie. While previous teasers have been a bit vague, this one dives right into the movie’s plot. It also answers one of the biggest questions surrounding the film: the movie will definitely be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only that, it takes place after the events of the Infinity Saga. Eternals is the third of four planned MCU movie releases in 2021.

While there’s a lot to take in, a couple of moments will likely stand out to comic fans:

  • We get a reason the Eternals did not try to stop Thanos.
  • The “snap” that brought everyone back, however, is about to cause an armageddon the Eternals feel a need to get involved in stopping.
  • Our first look at a Celestial.

It’s also worth noting that Bryan Tyree as Phastos is going to be great.

Barring any pandemic-related awfulness, Eternals is slated to release in theaters on November 5, 2021.
