Deep Water is a psychological thriller coming to Hulu. In recognition of all the twisted Valentines out there, Hulu has released a teaser trailer along with the poster for the film starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas. The movie is directed by expert thrill master Adrian Lyne who is know for Fatal Attraction and Indecent Proposal. This will be Lynne’s return to film after a twenty year hiatus.
Based on the celebrated novel by famed mystery writer Patricia Highsmith, Deep Water goes inside the marriage of picture-perfect Vic (Affleck) and Melinda (de Armas) Van Allen to discover the dangerous mind games they play and what happens to the people that get caught up in them.
Erotic thrillers seem to be making something of a comeback. The genre peaked with the high time of late night cable television, before essentially disappearing. If the trailer is any indication, Deep Water will be an exciting ride.
