Since David Silva and Creative Beasts Studios announced the upcoming Cyberzoic toy line last year, they’ve also provided new reveals and sneak peeks every Friday. Understandably, most of those have involved the highly anticipated dragon and armorer dinosaur figures. This week, however, Silva reminded us that Cybzeroic will also have some incredible humanoid figures in its lineup.
On Friday, Creative Beasts revealed digital renders for Argenteus, a Tech Knight General who will pilot an Allosaurus jimmadseni.
According to previously released concept art, Argentus is a good guy…probably:
“Genetically designed by the Technologist scientists to be their greatest warrior and protector, Argenteus is known by the people as the most noble of heroes. He protects humanity from the dangers of Gaea 2 and from the threats of the neighboring clans with his powerful Allosaurus and specialized Tech Knight team. As the face of the Technologist army, Argenteus brings hope to his citizens and serves as an inspiration for future recruits. But there have been new reports of him being seen colluding among the Dragon Clan, calling his loyalties in question. How this is possible and what it means has yet to be revealed.”
The sculpt was created by Fred Aczon, who has been knocking it out of the park lately with Hasbro’s GI Joe Classified series and Boss Fight Studios’ Saurzoic toy line. As you can see, both Creative Beasts and Aczon didn’t shy away from creating a great facial portrait to go along with the highly detailed body armor.
Add in two fantastic sword accessories, and we have yet another reason to be excited about Cyberzoic’s upcoming release.
